Safe Haven Foster Care
We know it’s difficult to even think about, but Cambodia remains a prime source country for young children being trafficked into sexual exploitation and forced labor. Many are taken across the border and live through things no child should ever experience.
LWB has created a special foster care program, Safe Haven Foster Care, for children who have been trafficked or abused to ensure they have a secure and nurturing place to work toward healing. Children receive the medical and nutritional support they need, as well as specialized educational help so they can attend school, often for the first time in their lives. They are able to know the love of a family, while reunification efforts are investigated.
You can make a difference in the life of a vulnerable child through a one-time or monthly donation to our Safe Haven Foster Care program or by sponsoring a child. Donors will receive regular updates and photos.
