Dr. Lori Cohen, Family Practice Physician
Dr. Lori Cohen is a family practice physician in Bolivar, Missouri. Dr. Cohen received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed her residency at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Cohen generously offers medical advice on a variety of medical needs to LWB's Medical Program.
Ellen Dietrick, Physical Therapy Consultant
Ellen Dietrick graduated from Marquette University with a B.S. degree in physical therapy and has nearly 30 years' experience in pediatric PT, treating children with various neuromuscular and genetic conditions. Ellen has coordinated PT camps for LWB, traveling to various orphanages to assess children's needs, development treatment plans, and train orphanage staff in basic PT exercises. Ellen serves as a volunteer PT Coordinator with LWB's Medical Program.
Dr. Jenny Dong - Medical Consultant
Dr. Jenny Dong is a pathologist with a sub-specialty of hematopathology and serves as a volunteer translation specialist with LWB's Medical Program.
Dr. James Gamble - Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. James Gamble is a professor at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, Packard Children's Hospital, in Stanford, California. Dr. Gamble received his medical degree at the University of Maryland and is a member of the Beijing International Committee for Chinese Orphans. He travels to China annually, providing surgeries and training at hospitals throughout the country.
Patty Glass, R.N. - Medical Consultant
Patty Glass is a registered nurse and received her masters of science degree in nursing, with a concentration in neonatology, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Patty serves as a nurse conultant with LWB's Healing Homes Program.
Dr. William Hammill - Pediatric Cardiologist
Dr. William W. Hammill is a pediatric cardiologist with Presbyterian Pediatric Cardiology in Charlotte, North Carolina. He serves on the board of directors of the Cardiovascular Institute at Presbyterian Hospita. Dr. Hammill generously offers his time and talents as a consult for LWB's Medical Program.
Dr. Steve Hodges - Assistant Professor of Surgery (Pediatric Urology)
Dr. Steve Hodges is the Assistant Professor of Surgery (Pediatric Urology) at WakForest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Hodges offers advice and helps LWB's Medical Program develop treatment plans for children with complex urological issues.
Melissa Tourville, R.N. - Medical Consultant
Melissa Tourville is a registered nurse with a background in maternal/newborn and pediatric nursing. Melissa serves as a volunteer Medical Consultant and Administrative Assistant with LWB's Medical Program.
