Hospital Comfort
Baby Ellie came to our attention when her orphanage
contacted us about a cyst in her brain. We
moved little Ellie from our healing home in Fujian up to Shanghai for
neurosurgery. In this photo she was
running a low grade fever and didn’t sleep the night before. Her nanny said she was a sensitive baby who
was upset by being in the hospital, and this photo captured a moment where she
was trying to gently comfort her.
