Heart to Heart
We loved this tender photo of Layla, who was in the hospital
for her own heart surgery, comforting the baby in the bed next to her. We were all so touched by Layla’s story, as
she had been domestically adopted from her orphanage as a baby. Sadly her father soon left the family, and, when
she was nine years old, her mom passed away. Layla once again found herself living in an orphanage. She wanted desperately to go to school, but
it was discovered that she had a heart defect which prevented her from
going. We are so glad that her heart
defect was able to be healed, as Layla is now attending school and loving it.
