The original oil painting titled Jia: Portrait of Hope was created especially for the Love Without Boundaries "Born in My Heart" Art Auction in 2008. This beautiful work of art features Jia, a child who received a second chance at life thanks to life-saving heart surgery from the LWB medical team. Though she was given the best care possible, Jia's condition was so serious that she was not expected to live. Her will to survive and the dedication of those who fought to save her inspired the title, "Jia: Portrait of Hope."

This painting is the work of the award winning portrait artist, Leila Ashton. Portraits by Leila Ashton are held in collections across North America and have received national and international recognition. Her original works and giclees are valued by collectors and treasured by individuals. Don't miss your chance to own this amazing work of art and support the work of Love Without Boundaries. All proceeds will directly benefit orphaned and impoverished children in China.

About Jia

Jia is an amazing little girl who has consistently beaten the odds. Thanks to those who supported her through LWB, Jia had heart surgery in the U.S. on September 4th, 2008. The surgery was very complicated, but it was a complete success! Her physicians report that Jia should lead a normal, healthy life!

Jia's amazing spirit has truly been an inspiration to everyone who met this precious little girl on her journey to a healthy heart. At the hospital, she blew kisses to everyone she met and continued to smile even after her surgery. We couldn't be happier for this sweet, brave little girl.
