Dear family and friends, It is that time of year again – when I consider ways to support a favorite charity through a fundraising effort. This year, I am walking in the Budapest Women's Run/Walk to be held on May 18th to support the nonprofit organization, Love Without Boundaries, which works with orphans in China.  I am hoping to raise $250, to be directed towards their medical programs.  In celebration of my birthday on June 19th, and in lieu of presents, it would be lovely to have your support towards the medical programs of Love Without Boundaries to help some of the neediest children have a fair chance in life.

My motivation

Love Without Boundaries is a special organization that I became acquainted with last year. As some of you may know, I had once thought I might adopt a child from China some day, but life – as it does – had other plans for me. Discovering this organization, which I now avidly follow via their Facebook page, has given me a connection to that dream I had in my 20s and 30s, and I am able to live it just a little through following this organization's work, through the stories of the children they help, and, now, through participating in this walk on behalf of the organization and reaching out to all of you in the hopes that you will join this effort. Thanks for any support you can offer – great or small – and know that your support will transform young lives.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for considering supporting this effort!  All the best from Budapest, Michele

Goal: $250.00
To date: $360.00

Brendan was abandoned as a newborn and immediately needed emergency, life-saving surgery due to an intestinal malformation. He struggled a bit afterwards but is now recovering well in one of LWB’s Healing Homes. By sponsoring me and supporting the Medical Program, you would be giving children like Brendan a second chance at life.
