I'm a follower and lover of Jesus, a committed wife, and mother to my 4 kids. Nothing in the world means more to me than being better at showing love to others as Jesus has loved me.
My motivation
I am running because I am convinced that every night, thousands of children around the world pray that someone will hear their prayer for mercy... for love... for a chance to be healthy and have a new "normal" without debilitating illness or disease. They are litterally dying inside... and more than healing of their illness, they want love.
God has called me to be His representative here on earth - to love.
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children,let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:16-18) I am running as a tangible expression - an action - of the passion I have to see a child healed by God through his people... People like you.
