We Run 4 Something! We are young & old - girls & boys, married & single - and come from all walks of life. What unites us as a team is a desire to make our miles count. To go the distance for something other than ourselves. We Run 4 something!
My motivation
Each of us has a personal reason for running for the orphans of China. In some way, we each have been touched by the stories of children abandoned by their parents. Each of us has somehow felt the pain these children carry - and seek to bear their burdens by raising money for their surgeries. We run for cleft babies and heart babies and children with limb deformities. We run for children who have been largely forgotten by society and have no future if their illness is left untreated.
We are motivated by different reasons - but stand united to one goal - to provide hope and healing to orphan children in China. Join us in making a difference. Join us in saving a life.

We are running for Teddy and other babies like him, who face emergency surgeries and need immediate care. Sweet little Teddy was born with a teratoma. He survived surgery and is continuing his recovery in a baby healing home. Little Teddy recently developed a post-op complication and the baby home has reached out to LWB for help. Often times, babies like Teddy cannot wait for funds to be raised. Their need is immediate and life threatening. We are raising money for Teddy and for other babies in emergency situations - help us help them!
