Chinese New Year Red Envelope Campaign
Chinese New Year, which begins on February 10th this year, is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. Children in families receive money in red paper envelopes and celebrate with large feasts, festivals, and lots of time with relatives. But there are many children in China without families to celebrate with them, who will not enjoy feasts, and who are hungry every day. LWB is running a special Red Envelope Campaign
in honor of orphaned children in our Believe in Me schools. Won't you join us in giving a New Year's gift of a fully tummy to these children?
Our Red Envelope Campaign will help feed children in LWB's Believe in Me schools in rural orphanages in Huainan, Jinjiang, and Liupanshui Provinces. Our in-school nutrition program provides nutritious, tummy-filling, vitamin rich foods, such as dried fruit, seaweed, and fish; nuts; yogurt; eggs; and milk. Your donation in any amount will be appreciated and help us to continue providing essential nutrition to these wonderful children. Checks, with "Red Envelope Campaign" indicated on the memo, may be mailed to:

Thank you on behalf of the students at our Believe in Me schools for remembering them this Chinese New Year.
