When funding is available, LWB offers Adoption Assistance Grants to children with special needs waiting to be adopted and needing extra assistance to receive loving families of their very own.

LWB receives essential funding from federal government employees participating in the Combined Federal Campaign.

Gift Cards

If you are shopping for family, friends, or teachers, we hope you will consider purchasing gift cards to let the recipients know that a donation has been made in their honor. Your purchase helps provide essential financial support for our programs.

Special Needs Advocacy

We are passionate about helping every orphaned child, regardless of his or her special needs, have the opportunity to receive a permanent family. We have created a special website, www.adoptspecialneeds.org, dedicated to special needs adoption. With videos and information on special needs, this website makes a great resource to families considering adopting children with special needs.

Special Needs Manual CD

In order to help orphanage caregivers, adoptive parents, and others better  understand varying medical special needs, LWB compiled a Special  Needs Manual, featuring brightly colored photos and explanations of each need, along with explanations of a variety of pediatric medical  needs. Doctors and specialists in China and the U.S. who have experience with each of these special needs reviewed each section of this manual. The manual includes information on 60 medical special needs and is  available in English on CD-ROM. This manual is a great place to start  for anyone who has ever considered adopting a child with special needs.

TeamLWB

Participate in a marathon, 5K walk or run, read-a-thon, dance-a-thon, or another TeamLWB special event to raise funds and make a difference in the lives of children in need.
