LWB staff will be visiting Guizhou Province in April and would like to purchase new bicycles for school-aged children at the Weng'An orphanage and another orphanage in southeastern Guizhou. A new quality bicycle, a basket for books, and a bike lock cost approximately $75. We would like to buy bikes for all 38 school-aged children at the two orphanages, at a total cost of nearly $3,000. Your donation in any amount will provide tangible help to these orphaned children, making it easier for them to get to and from school.
It is a big deal to every child to get a new bike. We can't wait to see the excitement of these orphaned children to receive bikes of their own!
