Doctor and Caregiver Support
In orphanages there are often too few hands to meet all the needs of the children. LWB's Nutrition and Special Projects Program has caregiver and doctor support projects to provide extra services and extra hands. Doctors visit children in orphanages to check on their welfare, provide immunizations, and offer advice to caregivers on how to care for sick children. Additional caregivers lighten the load for all working in an orphanage and provide important attention and care for the children. With extra hands there is more time to hand-feed a baby instead of propping a bottle or to spend some one-on-one time with a toddler.
Your one-time donation or monthly support of these projects directly impacts the daily lives of children in orphanages.
