True Children's Healing Home

LWB's True Children's Healing Home (TCHH), formerly known as the Fujian Healing Home and located in a lovely three-story home in the Fujian Province, is our fourth healing home and opened its doors in late 2010. The home is devoted to healing children with cleft lip and palate, plus a variety of other special needs, such as heart defects, prematurity, digestive disorders, and failure to thrive. As with our other healing homes, the True Children's Healing Home has specially trained nannies to nurture children and provide them the opportunity to grow, gain strength, receive surgeries, and recover in a safe, loving environment. Working together with social welfare institutions, our healing homes offer these little ones the best possible opportunity for health and healing.

The True Children's Healing Home is set up to provide as many as 20 beds in a cozy, home-like environment. Children needing our specialized healing care are lovingly nurtured and given high quality formula and fortified cereal to help them grow. Our nannies care for only two to three babies each and have been specially trained to help the children become strong and healthy. LWB partners with a local hospital to provide the children's surgeries and medical care, as well as post-operative care, until they are healed. When fully recovered, the children return to their hometowns, usually to foster care, with the best chance possible of receiving an adoptive family. With your help, the lives of 20 to 30 children each year can be changed.

We Need Your Help

In order to fully fund the care the children receive in our True Children's Healing Home, we need several sponsors for each child. Child sponsorships are $50 per month, or $25 per month for a shared sponsorship. Each sponsor will receive a monthly update and photos of their sponsored child.

We also gratefully accept both one-time and ongoing monthly donations in any amount to support our True Children's Healing Home. These funds are used for the most urgent needs that arise. Monthly updates will be sent to general donors.
