Eliza Weiniger

"Please help me save a life today." -Eliza

A Bat Mitzvah marks the time when a girl becomes responsible for the fulfillment of hundreds of commandments. The mitzvah project can be something to help others which will encourage the Jewish tradition of chessed, (kindness). Eliza Weinger is using her mitzvah project to raise donations to help the children left behind in China. After being adopted from China as an infant, Eliza has continued to hold the children of China close to her heart. She would love to be able to help the children who have grown up without the love of a family.

Eliza is raising awareness about needs than can be met through LWB's Orphanage Assistance Program. LWB's Orphanage Assistance Program provides supplies to children residing in orphanages throughout China for their safety and comfort and to enrich their lives. Items provided include safe cribs and warm quilts, heating and cooling systems, clean drinking water, diapers, formula, washing machines and dryers, incubators, toys and playground equipment and warm winter coats and clothing for children like Tara and Evie.

Eliza has raised $1,751!
