Home > Foster Care > Locations > Fuyang, Anhui Fuyang is situated to the far west of Hefei, the provincial capital of Anhui, in a very rural area. One of the main industries in this region is farming. This program was established in January 2007 with ten children being placed with local foster families. Since then, the program has grown steadily and supports approximately 20 children. The children range in age from a few months old to nine years old. Many of the children have special needs such as cleft lip and palate, heart defects, or limb differences. It is our hope to see many of the Fuyang children adopted in the coming months Several of the children in this program benefit from participation in LWB’s nutrition program where they enjoy the best quality formula and rice cereal.   Four of the older children also participate in LWB's education program.  The children have truly blossomed under the nurturing care of their foster parents. In order to cover the expenses of the program we have two sponsors per child. Sponsorships cost $35 per month and each sponsor receives a report and photos for their sponsored child every month.
