Home > Education > Education Locations > Sichuan Province Tibetan Communities of Sichuan Province –Mama's Wish This holistic education program currently serves students in Tibetan communities of the Qinghai and Sichuan Provinces, providing food, clothing, and shelter, as well as schooling opportunities. LWB facilitates the education of boys and girls who are either orphaned or impoverished students, primarily in extremely remote primary schools. We also sponsor the education of a few college students attending university in the provincial capital of Chengdu. In partnership with Angel Covers Foundation, we have served hundreds of Tibetan children in various ways since 2004. Together we have purchased and renovated a school and new dormitories for orphans and children of nomadic herders in extremely remote Sichuan Province, purchased yaks for several schools, provided over 1,800 coats for rural children, and purchased new textbooks.
