Our 2009 Born In My Heart Art Auction is April 23 - 28. Deadline for donations is April 1st, 2009. For more information, please email an Auction Coordinator at auction@lwbmail.com Examples of donations might be paintings, photography, sculpture, quilts, gift baskets (a great idea for DTC groups!), China-related books, cookware, scrapbooking, dolls, heirlooms, jewelry...something that reflects your own passions, talents and love for China's orphans. Because you shared your heart.... We can now share ours! Art Auction funds from 2008 allowed Guo, Xiao and Gracie to finally have healthy hearts! We cannot thank you enough for the gift of life for these beautiful children! There are many more children like Guo, Xiao and Gracie who wait for their chance to be healed. Your generous donations to life saving heart surgeries can lead to the ultimate gift for these children, a family of their very own, with whom they can truly share their heart. Guo from Henan, 7 years old, received surgery in Hangzhou to close a VSD on 9/4/08. Xiao from Gansu, 11 months old, had a complex heart condition. He was very sick before surgery and required supplemental oxygen. He received emergency surgery on 7/28/08. Gracie from Guangxi, 20 months old, received surgery to close a VSD on 8/8/08.
